Dresses Dresses Dresses....

Well as the date gets closer certain things begin to fall into place, like dresses..... I have my dress it's diamond white with a dusty rose pink sash and a pick up type skirt. My maid of honor will be in a silver dress, and my bridesmaids will be in 3 shades of pink (carnation, bubblegum, and fuchsia) the dresses will all be right below the knee in length. My junior bridesmaid Jayci Lou will be wearing a carnation colored gown that reaches below the knee-mid calf with a pickup style that matches my dress and a cute rhinestone brooch in the front. My flower girls will be wearing little wedding gowns that my Aunt Steph is letting me borrow. I'm so excited! They are an off-white that matches my dress, with beautiful detailing on the bodice and a long flowing train. It will be a princess wedding for sure!

Wedding Time!

Well wedding time is finally coming up! I just finished the invitations last weekend. Sam and I worked on them for what seemed like eternity! So everyone better like them! JK. Also I found the design I want for my cakes... That's right two! We are going to have the big pretty cake and also we want a smaller funny cake at the head table. The smaller cake though will actually be a pie with a funny cake topper, Jake doesn't like cake that much! The real cake however is going to be gorgeous! I'm so excited! The wedding is Aug. 22 2009 at Lazy K Ranch in Whitmore. To see more of that check out their website, lazykranchevents.com. Everything will be pink and silver! I have 8 bridesmaids and Jake has 8 groomsmen. Then we have 5 adorable jr groomsmen/ring bearers, 1 junior bridesmaid and 2 pretty princess flower girls! My bridesmaids are; Samantha Del Arroz, Amanda Akers, Stephanie Sawyer, Jessica Armstrong, Kristen Sabanovich, Sabrina Jansen, Jenna Armstrong and Hannah Humphrey. The Groomsmen are; Tyson Vieira, Josh Sabanovich, Jordan Sabanovich, James Jansen, Levi Story (as long as he can make it back from the marines), Josh Stark, Richard Nance, and Todd Akers. The Jr Groomsmen/Ring Bearers are Taylor Sabanovich, Emilio Martinez, Jacob Arnaz, Zach Tolbertson, Alex McNut and Ty Sabanovich. My junior bridesmaid is Jayci McNut and my flower girls are Zorene Tolbertson and Lauren Arnaz! I can't wait it is all going to be so much fun and it is coming up so quick!

Engagement

Wow ok the engagement.... I was working at macy's in the cosmetic dept and everyone I worked with was starting to get engaged and so I wanted a pretty ring too! So I started hinting at it, we had talked about getting engaged but Jake kept saying not until spring time. Anyway I didn't know that he had already gotten me a ring and was going to save it until Christmas. Well if you know me, I dont do patient very well and I kept hinting and kept hinting... Well we were outside my house one day and I had a pretty rough day that day I was moody and tired and Jake had been gone all weekend visiting a friend and was about to go out of town that next morning. So I was crying and not wanting to say goodbye and then it started raining. So we're standing out there in the rain and he says, "Do you want me to make everything better?" and I said yes and he told me to turn around. So I did and as I was standing there, I was thinking to myself that the only way to make this day better was if I turned around and he had a ring, but I knew it wasn't going to happen because he wouldn't even take me in those stores to look. Well I turn around and there he is on one knee in the rain with a ring....... How perfect is that! Oh by the way.... I said YES!

How It All Began!

It all began at a graduation party at the beginning of the summer of 2006. I became friends with a girl named Jessica when I moved to Redding. She was one of my first friends there and we became close. She invited me to go to her graduation party after church and it sounded like a good way to meet more people and have fun! We got there and I started hanging out with Jessica and her friend Sabrina. We were having a blast and I could tell we were all going to be very good friends. But there was this one guy there... A guy with a mountain man type beard... (apparently a bet with his best friend) He was so cute! After lunch we all went out on the lake to tube off of Jess's parent's boat. I am deathly scarred of fish by the way! Anyway we all went out there and he was so so cute so I played the whole being scarred of fish thing cool. Sabrina wasn't too comfortable with being left in the water alone either so we made a deal that if one of us fell in the other one would go in too so we weren't alone. Well in the end we both ended up in the water... and when Brina and I were getting back on the boat I was so worried about getting out of the water as fast as I could while still playing it cool, that I didn't realize that my swim bottoms had fallen down to around my knees. Luckily the life vest was big enough that you couldn't see anything. I was oblivious though until guess who... yeah the cute guy Jake speaks up and says, "Your pants are around your knees." How embarrasing! After the shock of that wears off and the party goes on, we all decide to go to Jess's house to hang out. I didn't know how to get there, so Jake offers to ride with me.... As long as he can drive my car! I just met him! But how do you say no to a guy that cute!

So we do end up going back to Jess's house and I talked Jake into staying and letting his ride head home early without him, because I just wanted to keep hanging out with him. We all sat around and talked until about 1:30am and then I had to drive Jake home. Which I did not know was all the way out in the middle of nowhere.... It was fun though and we really got a chance to talk and hang out.

We hung out again when I ran into the whole group at the mall about a week later and Jake told me all about this fishing incident.... Most of you probably know that story! If not ask Jake sometime. Anyway that trip to the mall only lasted about an hour and then it was off our own ways again.

Acouple days later we all met back up for movie night at Jess's house and ended up watching the worlds dumbest scary movie I dont even remember the name just that it was really random and really weird so a small group of us went out to lay on the trampoline and tell ghost stories. A little while into it Jake slowly reached for my hand and pulled me over to where I was laying my head on his chest and he was still hold my hand as we looked up at the stars! (it was totally thought out and romantic just like in a movie or something) It was so cute and we've been together ever since.
